Welcome to JustinBinek.com, the official site of Justin Binek, Head of Vocal Jazz Studies at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. An internationally renowned vocal jazz educator, Justin's credits include presenting "The Ten Habits of Highly Effective Scat Singers" at the 2008 IAJE annual conference in Toronto, Ontario, and at the 2008 ISME World Conference in Bologna, Italy. Summer 2009: Justin will again be teaching at the Heartland Vocal Camp for Jazz and Pop Singers in Tiffin, Ohio, from June 20-25. InPulse will again be the featured artists-in-residence at the camp, and there is still time to register! The UArts Pre-College Summer Jazz Institue will take place from July 6-17, and Justin will again head the vocal jazz program. Justin will also be teaching for the second consecutive summer at the Halewynstichting Jazz Camp in Dworp, Belgium, from July 27-August 1. And, of course, you can catch Justin performing around the Philadelphia metro area when he's in town!
