Welcome to JustinBinek.com, the official site of Justin Binek, Head of Vocal Jazz Studies at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. An internationally renowned vocal jazz educator, Justin's credits include presenting "The Ten Habits of Highly Effective Scat Singers" at the 2008 IAJE annual conference in Toronto, Ontario, and at the 2008 ISME World Conference in Bologna, Italy. Summer 2010 Update: Justin a great week teaching at the Heartland Vocal Camp for Jazz and Pop Singers in Tiffin, Ohio, in June. The students were great, and guest faculty Aubrey Johnson and Jake Moulton will be back in 2011! After the UArts Pre-College summer jazz camp finishes, Justin will be teaching for the third consecutive summer at the Halewynstichting Jazz Camp in Dworp, Belgium, from July 26-August 1.

Following the camp, Justin will perform at Hopper Jazz Café in Antwerp, Belgium, on Monday, August 2, with pianist Ewout Pierreux, bassist Jos Machtel, and drummer Toni Vitacollona. 2 sets, starting at 9 PM, with no cover! After that, it's on to The Hague, Netherlands, to perform a benefit concert with former students Kyle Biebel and Michiel Kleykamp at the Roman Catholic Church of Our Savior on Wednesday, August 4, at 7:30 PM.
